The First Lady has shared a bizarre AI video which has sparked a wild conspiracy theory.<\/p>\n

Melania Trump rarely makes public appearances, appearing quite elusive in politics and around the White House compared to her husband Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

However, when she does speak out, it\u2019s often to talk about protecting children in our AI-driven world.<\/p>\n

Most recently, delivered a bewildering speech from the White House last month, telling the crowd that \u2018robots are here\u2019 while stressing the importance of safeguarding America\u2019s children in the advancing technological age.<\/p>\n

The 55-year-old former model Melania said: \u201cOur future is no longer science fiction. During this primitive stage, it is our duty to treat AI as we would our own children \u2013 empowering, but with watchful guidance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, the mom-of-one has reignited a bizarre conspiracy theory \u2013 that she will soon be replaced by AI.<\/p>\n

The theory that Melania is often replaced by a body double is nothing new, as speculation first emerged that a suspicious look-alike was being used in her place as far back as 2017.<\/p>\n

Supporters of the theory allege her \u2018copy\u2019 can be spotted through notable physical differences, from facial features and bodily dimensions down to the supposed \u2018suspicious\u2019 behaviour that the \u2018real\u2019 Melania wouldn\u2019t do.<\/p>\n

While President Trump has waved away the hypothesis as \u2018fake news\u2019, Melania herself has appeared to add fuel to the fire by recently posting a clip of herself on social media.<\/p>\n

In the 10-second footage, Melania appears in what looks like Trump Tower in the form of a hologram while she penned in the caption: \u2018Into the future\u2019.<\/p>\n

Through a sparkle of pixels, the computer-generated version appears to share a strong likeness to her, donning her classic navy trench coat and signature style.<\/p>\n

The character doesn\u2019t speak, but simply corrects her posture while staring blankly at the camera, which rather ominously zooms in.<\/p>\n

With little to no other context, people say they have been left disturbed by the clip \u2013 and confused to say the least.<\/p>\n

Over on Twitter, one said: \u201cMelania posted this AI version of herself to sell her crypto. AI Melania speaks 738 languages, has perfect skin and is available for children\u2019s birthday parties and auto shows, but still no appearances with Donald, because unlike IRL Melania, AI has standards.\u201d<\/p>\n

Others were also left scratching their heads with the footage, as another wrote: \u201cSure are showing us a lot of hologram stuff. What she trying to tell us?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAre we gonna get teleportation?!?\u201d asked a second.<\/p>\n

A third wrote: \u201cMelania Trump has sparked speculation she will send a hologram to future public appearances after she posted an Al-generated video of herself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melania isn\u2019t the only one to be trying her hand at AI either, because President Trump has been utilising the tool to spread his own messages.<\/p>\n

Trump recently posted an AI-generated version of himself discussing a so-called \u2018medbed card\u2019 that was mysteriously deleted 12 hours later.<\/p>\n

The POTUS also used an AI image of himself, imagining him as the protagonist out of the movie Apocalypse Now, to \u2018threaten\u2019 Chicago with \u2018war\u2019 just last month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
