Somewhere along the way, parenting changed.<\/p>\n

Parents started protecting their children too much.<\/p>\n

Not just from danger\u2026<\/p>\n

But from truth.<\/p>\n

There was a time when kids learned how to handle life early.<\/p>\n

They joined scouts.<\/p>\n

They learned first aid.<\/p>\n

They understood responsibility, survival, and what the real world looked like.<\/p>\n

They weren\u2019t shielded from everything.<\/p>\n

They were prepared for it.<\/p>\n

But today\u2026<\/p>\n

Things feel different.<\/p>\n

Parents are tired.<\/p>\n

Stressed.<\/p>\n

Trying to survive in a world that\u2019s more expensive, more complicated, and more uncertain than ever before.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s understandable.<\/p>\n

But in trying to protect their children\u2026<\/p>\n

Many have gone too far.<\/p>\n

Instead of preparing them for reality\u2026<\/p>\n

They soften it.<\/p>\n

Hide it.<\/p>\n

Delay it.<\/p>\n

They try to guard them from lies, from fear, from confusion\u2014<\/p>\n

The world hasn\u2019t become simpler.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s become louder.<\/p>\n

There are opinions everywhere.<\/p>\n

Information everywhere.<\/p>\n

Fear everywhere.<\/p>\n

And now\u2026<\/p>\n

No one really knows what\u2019s true and what\u2019s false anymore.<\/p>\n

Children grow up in this noise.<\/p>\n

But without the tools to navigate it.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s where the real problem begins.<\/p>\n

Because protection without preparation\u2026<\/p>\n

Isn\u2019t protection at all.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s delay.<\/p>\n

And one day\u2026<\/p>\n

Reality still comes.<\/p>\n

The difference is\u2026<\/p>\n

Now they\u2019re not ready.<\/p>\n

Maybe the answer isn\u2019t to expose children to everything too early.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s also not to hide everything from them.<\/p>\n

Maybe the answer is balance.<\/p>\n

Teach them how to think.<\/p>\n

How to question.<\/p>\n

How to stand on their own.<\/p>\n

Give them truth\u2026<\/p>\n

In a way they can understand.<\/p>\n

Because one day\u2026<\/p>\n

They won\u2019t need protection anymore.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll need strength.<\/p>\n

And that strength doesn\u2019t come from being shielded.<\/p>\n
