This morning, my husband and I sat our eight-year-old son down\u2026<\/p>\n

And told him he\u2019s going to be a big brother again.<\/p>\n

At first, he just blinked at us.<\/p>\n

Confused.<\/p>\n

Trying to process it.<\/p>\n

Then his face lit up.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday?\u201d he asked excitedly.<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t help but laugh.<\/p>\n

He doesn\u2019t quite understand how it all works yet\u2026<\/p>\n

And honestly?<\/p>\n

That innocence made the moment even sweeter. \ud83d\ude04<\/p>\n

To celebrate, we told him he could pick dinner and a movie.<\/p>\n

He chose Little Caesars pizza.<\/p>\n

Not because of the taste\u2026<\/p>\n

But because he likes the box.<\/p>\n

And just like that, our little celebration began.<\/p>\n

I still can\u2019t believe we\u2019re having our third child together.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t care if it\u2019s a boy or a girl.<\/p>\n

We make beautiful, healthy children together\u2026<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s all that matters to me.<\/p>\n

But this time feels different.<\/p>\n

My husband has been extra careful.<\/p>\n

Extra attentive.<\/p>\n

And honestly?<\/p>\n

A little\u2026 extra everything.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s just say\u2014<\/p>\n

His energy lately?<\/p>\n

You\u2019d think he was the pregnant one. \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n

He\u2019s always been an amazing dad.<\/p>\n

But seeing him like this again\u2026<\/p>\n

It reminds me why I fell in love with him in the first place.<\/p>\n

Life hasn\u2019t always been simple for us.<\/p>\n

Not everyone understands our story.<\/p>\n

Or how we became what we are today.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s okay.<\/p>\n

Because we know.<\/p>\n

And what we have?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s strong.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re bringing another little piece of that love into the world.<\/p>\n

How did I get this lucky?<\/p>\n

To love someone this deeply\u2026<\/p>\n
